My name is Kiara Thompson, I am a Black-Canadian living in Montreal and I graduate from the Dawson College Illustration Program 2021.
My art focuses on visual development, background design and Illustration. Creating key illustrations for feature film and tv animation. I love developing a fantastical environment that brings wonder and magic to my audience. I want my art to reflect my creative upbringing and potentially reach others.
Being a POC in the industry, I want to share my story through Illustration and Design, bringing light to new ideas and opportunities for my community.I love doing this through my narrative work. Bring joy, warmth and love to those who interact with it.

Je m'appelle Kiara Thompson, je suis une Canadienne noire vivant à Montréal et je suis diplômée du programme d'illustration du Collège Dawson.
Mon art se concentre sur le développement visuel, la conception d'arrière-plan et l'illustration. Je crée des illustrations clés pour des films et des animations télévisées. J'aime développer un environnement fantastique qui apporte émerveillement et magie à mon public. Je veux que mon art soit le reflet de mon parcours créatif et qu'il puisse toucher d'autres personnes.
En tant que POC dans l'industrie, je veux partager mon histoire à travers l'illustration et le design, en mettant en lumière de nouvelles idées et opportunités pour ma communauté, ce que j'aime faire à travers mes travaux narratifs.Qu'ils amènent de la joie, de la chaleur et de l'amour à ceux qui interagissent avec eux.
En résumé, je suis une sympathique amoureuse des chats qui aime l'art, l'astrologie et la mode.
